This reminds me of my grandfather's neighbor who was always in his garden. he used an old bandana under his hat. We thought he used to be in the Foreign Leagion. He give away all his vegtables, they were his calling card in a handled bucket. He came at dinner time when guest plates were close at hand.

His wife died years before and never have enthusiasm to chop and stir for one.
